Know the Signs of Stroke: BE FAST

Recognizing the symptoms of a stroke and acting quickly can save lives. Use the BE FAST acronym to remember the key warning signs:

  • B - Balance: Sudden dizziness, loss of balance or coordination.
  • E - Eyes: Vision trouble in one or both eyes.
  • F - Face: Uneven facial droop or numbness.
  • A - Arms: Weakness or numbness in one arm.
  • S - Speech: Slurred speech or difficulty speaking.
  • T - Time: Call 911 immediately if you observe any of these signs.
