Marshall Health Network (MHN) honors employees who contribute to and promote culture and belonging across the system. 2024 Rising Star Award winners were recognized at the inaugural ceremony March 8, 2024, at St. Mary’s Center for Education.

The Rising Star Award for Leadership recognizes individuals who enhance existing practices in leadership positions and set a positive example. They demonstrate the dedication and enthusiasm to advance and inspire others to foster a workplace environment of integrity, acceptance, compassion and humility. The five winners are:
The Rising Star award for Advocacy recognizes individuals who offer support to those in need. They go above and beyond to ensure that everyone's needs are addressed by helping individuals express their views and understand their rights. The winner is Heather Hamlin, RN, HIMG Pulmonary.
