Marshall Health Network Cardiologist joins Rivers Health

Marshall Health Network Cardiologist George J. Linsenmeyer, III, MD, has joined the medical staff at Rivers Health.

Linsenmeyer, an associate professor at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, brings more than 40 years of experience as an interventional cardiologist to Point Pleasant. He earned his medical degree from West Virginia University (WVU), followed by internal medicine residencies at St. Louis University Group Hospitals in Missouri and WVU in Charleston. He also completed a cardiology fellowship at the University of Cincinnati and served as a member of several national committees for the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Intervention.

Linsenmeyer is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, with subspecialty certifications in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, and the Board of Nuclear Cardiology. He is also certified in thoracic echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography.
