Cosco named executive director of marketing

Kathy Cosco has been named executive director of marketing at Rivers Health.

Kathy Cosco has been named the executive director of marketing for Rivers Health (RH), formerly Pleasant Valley Hospital. Cosco oversees business development, community relations, marketing, government relations and special projects for the hospital.

Cosco is joining RH to assist the hospital with rebranding and promoting the hospital’s programs and initiatives to the communities it serves.

Most recently serving as director of strategic marketing for Mountain Health Network, Cosco spent the first 20 years of her career at Cabell Huntington Hospital, where she served in a number of positions. In addition to roles in healthcare, Cosco led communications for the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, was manager of government affairs for Frontier Communications and communications specialist for the Robert C. Byrd Institute, now the Marshall University Advanced Manufacturing Center.

Cosco holds a Bachelor of Arts in public relations from the Marshall University W. Page Pitt School of Journalism and Mass Communications.
